Events news

September is always a great month to visit the Northeast Georgia Mountains.  It signals the beginning of Octoberfest as well as the start to changing colors on the trees.  Here are some activities you may enjoy this September:

September 1st:  First Friday Night Concert-  Hancock Park in Dahlonega

September 2nd:  9th Annual Folk Pottery and Arts Festival- Folk Pottery Museum in Sautee Nacoochee.

September 7-10, 14-17, 21-24:  47th Annual Oktoberfest in Helen

September 8-10th:  Dahlonega Trail Fest in Dahlonega

September 9th:  Southern Gospel Music Concert - Historic Ritz Theatre in Toccoa

September 16th:  Georgia's Spirit of Appalachia Food, Wine and Art Festival at Hardman Farm in Sautee Nacoochee

September 23-24th:  Spirit of Harvest Festival at Kaya Vineyards in Dahlonega

September 30th:  10th Annual Agri-Fest Country Market and 7th Annual Pottery Comes to Town at Freedom Park in Cleveland
